(Ahlan wa sahlan)

What you may be carrying:

  • chronic tension, persistent pain, or patterns the body keeps returning to

  • stress that has settled somewhere in the body and won't quite leave

  • a life that is shifting — and the weight of not knowing what comes next

  • recurring emotional or behavioural patterns that feel ready to be seen

  • a longing for clarity, connection, or something harder to name

  • a sense of disconnection — from yourself, others, or something larger

  • grief, loss, or questions that go beyond the physical

  • a feeling that something is present, but just out of reach

  • an openness to another way — intuitive, relational, and grounded

Registered Massage Therapy:

- in person

- the assessment and treatment of soft tissue and joint dysfunction, along with support for managing pain, tension, and stress-related patterns in the body.

My practice focuses on how your body responds and adapts to strain, injury, and ongoing stress, often reflected in your fascial, visceral and cranial systems.

Minimalist Waiting Room

Something in you already knows.

Maybe it shows up as tension that won't leave. A grief that has nowhere to go. A feeling that something is missing, or that a part of you has been

waiting — quietly, patiently — to be heard.

You don't have to have the words for it. You just have to be willing to listen, to feel.

Through Registered Massage Therapy, Mediumship or Integrative Sessions, this work tends to the body, the mind, and the spaces in between

— meeting each person exactly where they are.

Sessions are separate in their offerings to allow for both clarity and depth of care.

Alongside clinical training, my work is informed by a long-standing sensitivity to subtle energies, shaped over time and influenced by generational teachings from my German and Jordanian heritages.

A grounded, present, and respectful space where well-being can unfold in ways that feel meaningful.

Physically. Emotionally. Spiritually.

Honoring the fullness of who you are and the wisdom within.

  • I knew from my very first session with Mai that I had found an exceptional healer. I was looking for someone with knowledge and experience, and had chosen to work with Mai for her credentials. She is warm, has a gentle personality, and listens to you and your body. She is professional through and through; Always checking in and asking permission to make sure you approve and allow what she is looking to do. We start every session with her reading my body, asking it what it needs. This allows us both to check in with my vessel and dive into potential blockages that I may be holding in subconsciously. Mai has a lot of heart in her services. She is intentional and present in every decision she makes with you, reflecting the importance of your trust in her and how much she cares about you. During one of my sessions, we talked about generational ties and there was so much that came forward for me to witness and release (physically and energetically), but also I left feeling reassured and empowered. As I spoke up about what I felt in my body while she was working on it, she reaffirmed my resonance. The difference between her and other registered massage therapists is her ability to help me identify the areas in my life that need my attention and support that manifested in my body. She even taught me something new (one of her healing tools, the phurba). Her intuition is immaculate, her energy is always clear (great energetic hygiene), and she is always ready to support you. I have never felt her bring in a previous client's energy/experience/session (she keeps things confidential), or her own personal "heaviness" or "baggage" (for lack of a better term). She is attentive on how to maintain a high level of relaxation and healing in the room. She offers the heating pad to ensure you're comfortable at all times and has great communication overall. Her methods of healing are not limited to just the body - they are all-encompassing for the mind, body and soul. And best of all, she decorates the room with crystals for healing and protection! If you're looking to receive wholistic healing, providing complete, well-rounded care, Mai can deliver it. #Healer #Spiritual #SpiritualHealer #RMTWitch #SpiritualGangster #WholisticHealer #MindBodySoul Sarah C.

  • I have been seeing Mai since 2023, and I can confidently say she is one of the most thoughtful and skilled healthcare practitioners I have worked with. What sets Mai apart is that she treats the person, not just the symptom. She doesn't take a one-size-fits-all approach or jump straight into a predetermined treatment plan. Instead, she takes the time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and understand the underlying factors that may be contributing to an issue. Her approach is methodical, thorough, and tailored to each individual. Over the years, Mai has helped me with ongoing back issues as well as other mobility-related concerns. She also helped me through a particularly difficult episode of neck pain when I was feeling quite miserable. What I appreciate most is that her treatments are never focused solely on immediate relief. They are aimed at supporting long-term improvement and overall well-being. Beyond the physical benefits, I always leave her sessions feeling more relaxed, less tense, and better able to manage stress. Mai is caring, knowledgeable, attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in helping her clients feel their best. I am very grateful for her support and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an RMT who combines technical expertise with a personalized and compassionate approach to care. Narges S.

  • Over the last four years, Mai has provided a professional, safe, and deeply restorative environment. From our initial complimentary phone consultation to our sessions today, her transparency and communication have been exemplary. Mai has a rare ability to meet clients exactly where they are at in life. She approaches care with deep intuition and strict adherence to consent, offering insights that are always well-intentioned, careful, and kind. She has integrated seamlessly with my broader care team, fostering a truly holistic approach to my well-being. Our dynamic is highly collaborative, which has empowered me to take true agency over my health. In a fast-paced world, walking away from a session feeling genuinely heard and seen is a rare gift. That alone is healing. Tim

  • I came to Mai for an Initial Consult for Cranial Sacral, Visceral and Myofacial Massage Therapy in Mar 2026 when I was working through the last 4 years of back pain, particularly on my L lower lumbar back/paraspinal and L quadratus lumborum. I had a few falls from snowboarding on my L glute and sacrum that perhaps triggered the back pain initially. Since 2021, I have been using acupuncture/massage therapy/physiotherapy and other modalities to help with treating muscle tightness. The issue is that, I would get short-term relief when I needed it in my lower back, but it would arise again after a week due to stressors, such as work tightening my psoas muscles, sitting way too long at work with sedentary typing/office work, as well as growing older in life with more emotional stress/life stressors. In January 2026, my back pain and L side became really tight and I had to take time off work to relax my nervous system, and rehab myself with a vagus nerve reset. I also knew there was a spiritual component as to why my body is holding energy/stress and manifesting as back pain - after 4 years of dealing with this and not improving, but getting worse with stress. I felt the whole of the L side was not moving well; feeling very compressed in my L hip/lower back/obliques and R chest/pec getting tight to compensate for the L side tightness. Mai assessed me in Mar 2026 and what a great initial assessment. She provided such an informative and spiritually moving session in terms of really knowing why my L side was holding all this energy/tightness. She is a great assessor - she noted a ligament that I have never heard of (Ligament of Treitz), which was very tight and pulled the fascia/viscera on the L side. She worked on it to release it with a very long hold. What a patient and kind therapist! Her release made a massive shift to my L side to release and for me to receive space to recover. It was an immediate shift after the session. Mai is also in tune to energy/spirit and body work. She also explained how my L side may be holding on to trauma from the past or emotional things that were put onto me from a young age or during a pivotal time around age 29 years old. She gave me things to reflect on and how my relationships are affecting how I am holding energy/emotions, which ultimately my body will hold the score. Her insight helps me put things together that I didn't realize I was holding onto and creating a trauma loop in my body. And then with intention and reflection, I consciously let things go. It has helped in my life journey of letting things go to open up my L side. Mai has spoken to me that it is because I am open and willing to look at myself that it makes her job in assisting my body to open up so much easier. I go to Mai every month, whenever I can get in with her, as she's so popular! Every session is just full of collaborative work with her to unearth what my body is trying to tell me in terms of why it's holding on to trauma/energy. I can feel where she is pulling when she works on my energy field, this is without her touching that area of my body! The benefit is that Mai will tell me what she finds from an energetic level, fascia/muscle work, if you are open to it and ask her. I take what she says, reflect/meditate on it during my own Yin Yoga sessions. I have epiphanies as to why my body is holding onto things and what I need to release subconsciously that I am holding on to or to make changes day to day. I found out from my sessions with Mai, I have a lot of generational and ancestral trauma that was placed on me at a very young age. It is holding on my L side, the feminine side of the body. It's up to me to notice it when my L muscles/fascia act up, to reflect what is going on to let go and not let it take over my L side of the body anymore. I have realized the L side tightness has become more of a warning system/indicator of stress to emotions/stress of doing too much for others, not having good boundaries, and not speaking up for myself and ignoring myself. This will be a lifelong work for me to learn, but I now know and can equip myself to change, have better boundaries and self-care so my body doesn't take the score anymore on my L side. Ultimately, Mai's sessions are just full of impact and change on a physical body, energy and spiritual level. She is such an intuitive healer on all 3 aspects, and she is continuing to grow in her modalities in healing and to continue to explore to add to her healer toolbelt with mediumship and shaman work. It is a mark of a great healer when they are continually evolving and adding skills to their tool belt. This is Mai through and through. It is truly wonderful to work with someone who also works on a spiritual level and collaborates. I am always honored to attend Mai's sessions and get insight to walk away with per session that I need to work on or listen to. If you are willing to be released from a muscular/ligament/fascia level and open to getting insight on spiritual/energy level what may be impacting you too, Mai is your therapist :) Thank you Mai! Looking forward to our next session! Teresa

Experiences and Insight:

Approach & Presence:

Grounded in clinical training, ongoing study, and a long-standing curiosity about how the body adapts, compensates, and communicates — across many levels.

I hold space with attention, discernment, and quiet respect for your individual experience — tending to both what is present now, and what has been held for longer.

Sessions are still, guided, and responsive to what arises.

Integrative Session:

- in person/remote

- a guided process that brings awareness to both the body and inner experiences, supporting insight, regulation, and a sense of reconnection.

Rooted in a relational approach, this work honours the threads that connect us — to you, to others, and to the presence within and around you. This is Soul Bridging.
